Libby Carswell

I have 13+ years experience in various fields including sales, office administration and support, engineering support, customer service, online data management, quality assurance and even retail. I am currently a full-time student as well, majoring in English. I love to sew, cook, read, knit, perform in stage productions, draw and paint, spend time with my friends/family and I really love to write. I have been writing poetry since I was a pre-teen and I have only just begun to unleash my other writing talents.

Last semester I won first place in an essay contest at the college I attend. I knew that I needed to get that story out into the world to share it with others. I recently had the story published and featured at www.divinecaroline.com.

I am a single working mom of three great kids and making extra money is always something that is on my mind. In order to pay the bills, I work full-time for a major non-profit in the gift management department, processing online donations and proofing memorial/honor tributes. These are sent out to honor individuals that have passed from breast cancer or have been affected by it in some way. Having active and growing children requires more money than I make at my job. So, here I am ready to put my creativity and know-how to work for the purpose of generating more cash to make my family’s life a little more comfortable.

Someday I will become a professor of writing. In the meantime, I will share my knowledge and experience in proofing and editing to help make the blogging world a more legible place!
