I have no idea…none are as good as any of the stuff I read here.
This one is pretty decent though, helps readers think outside of the ‘make money online’ box.

I’ll go for the one on my name. Encouraging you to use your time at best

This ones a tough one for me. It really depends on what you consider a “best post.”
My Digg post received a pagerank 4 and over 100,000 unique visitors:
http://mixedmarketarts.com/2008/01/07/top-10-reasons-this-list-will-be-popular-on-digg/
but my Link Building Cookbook series has given me over 35 posts worth of content and has gotten me the majority of my RSS readers:

I suppose if I had to choose, it would be the cookbook.

Hey Collin, I understand your dilemma. I’m in a similar situation as my “10 reasons why bloggers hate blogging” post literally made a smash, but if I’d think like a purist, I’d say that “Using Humour To Extend Your Reach” was more “profound”.

I don’t know about ‘best’, but Humans Prove Too Temperamental To Be Good SpamBots! got quite a good reaction, as did my early posts on Kazakhstan (most linked from the Kazakhstan 101 page.

Patrick,
It’s hard to pick one that I feel as though is the best, so instead, can I pick my Banner Designs page/post? The only reason is because I’m pretty proud of the design work that I have done for people.
And even based on stats, that has been my 4th most popular page this year.

I’ll let you pick…. I have a similar dilemma as Collin…
My Dofollow Blog Search Engine is by far the most popular, but not really a post.

My second most popular and useful, and an actual post is:
http://linkbuildingbible.com/2008/03/17/how-to-check-how-many-backlinks-your-site-has/
My favorite post of mine, is:

You pick…..

I love all of my posts equally (that’s what I tell the crappy ones, at least) so it’s fairly hard to pick a favorite.
If I had to, though, it’d probably be one of my undervalued older posts which no one seems to comment on/read. It is utter satire - not very valuable but it still gives me a good laugh.
