While there are many directories available to index your blog, there’s a new kid on the block called rssHugger. The idea behind rssHugger is to ease the process of bringing bloggers and readers together.

The site offers an interesting way to send you back traffic. By displaying a link on your site to your blog’s page on rssHugger, their system will computerize all incoming traffic from your blog and rank your site according to the level of referrals you’ll generate. The more readers click your link to visit your rssHugger page, the higher you rank. This might get you featured in their monthly Top 100.

Registration

There are two ways to can get featured on rssHugger, the free way, and the $20 way. Most of the time, you’ll agree with me that paying subscribers get more and/or better services because they paid money. rssHugger sees it differently. Whether you are a free registrant, or you’ve paid 20 bucks, you get the very same service.

What’s The Catch Then?

There’s no catch. If you want to get featured for free, you simply need to publish a review on your site like the one you’re reading at the moment. If you prefer not to review their service but you want to be listed in their directory, then you’ll need to pay $20.

How Much Hug Can you Get?

It’s very difficult to answer this question at this time because the service is fairly new. But, while I am writing this post, there are only 109 blogs registered… you see where I’m going? Being listed in the Top 100 is not too difficult to reach.

I will give rssHugger a fair try. Once they confirm my review is online, I will be adding a link in my end-of-post advertising space hoping readers will click on it, allowing PiggyBankPie to get featured in the Top 100.
