When starting out in affiliate marketing one of the hardest areas to master is selecting a profitable niche.

In the past this was much easier. You could often sign up to an affiliate program, send some traffic directly to the site through Google AdWords, and quickly determine if the site converted and what were the most profitable keywords.

Now Amazon along with most of the other top retailers prohibit direct linking, and putting together simple landing pages often isn’t possible with Google’s tough stance on thin affiliate sites.

However, for new affiliates things have got a little easier. You can sign up to Cloud Niche and get profitable affiliate niches delivered direct to you. Glen Allsopp from ViperChill (a brilliant blog if you haven’t come across it before) is sending out the niches so you can be sure that they’ll of a good quality. I signed up very recently so have received one niche so far - mobile phone recycling.
